"After the Rain" | Original Painting | by JD Shultz | Signed
"After the Rain" was born from stillness, that moment when the chaos clears and everything feels saturated with possibility. I wanted this piece to hold the energy of renewal... of what becomes visible when the storm passes.
There’s a subtle rhythm woven into the layers...soft tones meeting bold strokes, like nature exhaling. The textures were built slowly, intentionally, to reflect the quiet clarity that follows transformation.
Original painted on a wood box panel, this one-of-a-kind piece brings warmth, depth, and quiet power to any space.
Other Available Formats
Limited Editions
These are premium prints produced in limited quantities from the original artwork. They are signed by the artist and represent the closest expression to the original outside of a one-of-a-kind painting. The artist only signs and prints 30 pieces.
Mixed Media
Mixed Media pieces begin with a high-resolution print of the original artwork on plexiglas. Each piece is then hand-embellished and painted, adding texture, depth, and subtle variation so no two are exactly the same. Because of this hands-on process, mixed media works feel very close to an original painting.
