"Winter Memory" Original Painting (40" x 52")

"Winter Memory" | Original Painting | by JD Shultz | Signed

"Winter Memory" was born from a quiet place within me… a frozen moment suspended in time. I wanted to capture that feeling — when the world slows down, and you're left with only your breath and the beauty around you. The stillness, the clarity, the contrast… it’s all here.

This 40" x 52" original is painted in rich acrylic on canvas, with layered textures that draw you into its depth. The color palette is cool and contemplative, but there’s a warmth hidden in the details... just like the memories we revisit on cold days.

Every brushstroke in this piece tells part of a story… my story… and maybe yours too.

Signed by me, JD Shultz, and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
