"Change Is Coming" | Original Painting | by JD Shultz | Signed
This piece poured out of me during a moment of transformation... the kind where you don’t know what’s on the other side, but you move forward anyway. “Change Is Coming” is the energy of a threshold… that undeniable feeling in your chest when something new is rising and there’s no going back.
I used texture, movement, and restrained contrast to capture that liminal space between breakdown and breakthrough...where energy churns in the unseen, and you can feel the shift even before it arrives.

Limited Editions
These are premium prints produced in limited quantities from the original artwork. They are signed by the artist and represent the closest expression to the original outside of a one-of-a-kind painting. The artist only signs and prints 30 pieces.
Mixed Media
Mixed Media pieces begin with a high-resolution print of the original artwork on plexiglas. Each piece is then hand-embellished and painted, adding texture, depth, and subtle variation so no two are exactly the same. Because of this hands-on process, mixed media works feel very close to an original painting.
