This one’s personal. Capitol Records is more than a building...it’s a symbol of LA’s creative pulse. I grew up driving past this iconic structure, feeling the buzz of the city and the magic of music in the air. I wanted to capture that feeling...the neon glow, the vintage cars, the timeless energy...and bring it to life in a way that only paint can.
This piece was created on plexiglas to allow the color to dance with light. The layered textures, bold outlines, and electric palette bring a retro LA dreamscape into the now.
