"Leader Of The Pack" Artist Proof

"Leader Of The Pack" | Artist Proof | by JD Shultz | Signed (3 of 30)

This piece is part of a limited run of 30 Artist Proofs created from my original acrylic on canvas painting, Leader Of The Pack.

This one is close to my heart...a wild, unfiltered expression of color, movement, and raw creative energy. It captures the instinctual power of the leader... bold, intuitive, untamed. I painted this in a flow state, letting the brush follow the pulse of the moment.

Each Artist Proof is signed, numbered, and produced with high-fidelity detail to honor the original work.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
