“My Abbey Road” is my technicolor tribute to one of the most iconic moments in music history. I’ve walked that street... I’ve studied that photo... and this piece is how I reimagined it through my eyes...a surreal, neon-drenched celebration of the Beatles’ energy and impact.
 
This painting was created with acrylic on plexiglas to amplify depth, reflection, and vibrancy. The electric colors of the crosswalk, the bold silhouettes, and the cosmic palette are all intentional...like a visual remix of a song that never gets old.
 
It’s more than a painting. It’s a pulse. A rhythm. A pop-art dreamscape where nostalgia meets psychedelia... and the music never stops.
 
Signed by me and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity, this is a true one-of-one...part homage, part soul, all heart.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

​

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
