"My Green Lennon" Original Painting (36" x 48")

"My Green Lennon" | Original Painting | by JD Shultz | Signed

This is one of those pieces that felt electric the moment I started it.

“My Green Lennon” is a bold, psychedelic tribute... not just to the man, but to the mind. I wanted to blend chaos and clarity... vision and vibration. His energy lives in the color. His voice in the lines. And somewhere in the layers of movement and music, I found my own reflection.

Painted on plexiglas for maximum vibrancy and depth, this one-of-a-kind original is framed in sleek white and comes ready to hang.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
