"My Life in Hollywood" Original Painting (48" x 71")

“My Life in Hollywood” | Original Painting | 48" x 71" | Acrylic on Plexiglas |

This piece is a visual diary. A layered love letter to the chaos, color, and cinematic rhythm of life in Los Angeles.

“My Life in Hollywood” is bold, fast-moving, and unapologetically alive... much like the city itself.

Painted on plexiglas, this original pulls you into a multidimensional world where stories unfold in the shadows, lights flash like memory, and every brushstroke tells a tale only JD could paint.

It’s not just a piece of art... it’s a lived experience.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
