"Urban Glory" Artist Proof

Artist Proof | Mixed Media on Archival Paper | Hand-Embellished & Signed

A collector’s edition of the striking original Urban Glory... where chaos meets structure, and bold neutrality becomes the canvas for raw emotional energy. This Artist Proof print is a limited-edition collectible personally hand-embellished by JD Shultz to mirror the layered texture and movement of the original.

Each Artist Proof is printed on archival paper and hand-embellished by JD himself, adding subtle layers of texture, color, and depth that make every piece one-of-a-kind.

🎧 Every Artist Proof is slightly different, painted by hand to give you something original.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
