"Winter Memory" Artist Proof

"Winter Memory" | Artist Proof | by JD Shultz | Signed (2 of 30)

There’s a certain stillness I can only describe as a Winter Memory... a hush in the air, a reflective silence that wraps around you like a quiet song. This piece was created from that energy... a moment of introspection, of calm beauty, of depth.

As an Artist Proof, this is part of an exclusive limited edition of 30. Each one is printed with precision and hand-signed by me, JD Shultz...with special attention to capturing the original’s layered textures and emotion.

Whether you're drawn to the serenity of the season or the personal meaning within, this piece invites you to pause and remember what really matters.

The Process Behind the Work

Each artwork begins as an original painting by JD Shultz, created on canvas or plexiglass using layered acrylic techniques.

Plexiglass pieces are painted on the reverse side, building the image back-to-front to create depth, clarity, and a luminous finish.

Mixed media works are developed from the original painting and enhanced through layered materials and finishes — preserving the integrity of the original while adding dimension and presence.
