I painted The Wall from a place of deep respect for what this space holds. What moved me wasn’t just the structure itself, but the energy around it...the layers of history, devotion, and humanity that live in and around the stone. I wanted the wall to feel solid and timeless, but also alive… shaped as much by the people who gather there as by the stone itself.
 
This painting is not meant to document a moment in time. It’s meant to capture the feeling of standing there...the sense that you’re in a place where countless stories, hopes, and prayers have passed through long before you arrived.
 
Mixed Media
Mixed media pieces begin with a high-resolution print of the original artwork on plexiglas. Each piece is then hand-embellished and painted, adding texture, depth, and subtle variation so no two are exactly the same.
 
Because of this hands-on process, mixed media works feel very close to an original painting... with added dimension and presence... while still allowing the artwork to be experienced at a larger scale or in different spaces.
